미국 전역에 흩어져 있는 한국전 참전 기념비를 보고

미국을 여행하다 보면 유명한 공원 어디서나 한국전 참전 기념비를 발견하게 됩니다.

자기의 고국도 아닌 이국만리 타향의 한국전에 참가하여 살아 돌아온 분들도 많이 계시겠지만

우리니라 한국에서 전사한 분들도 너무나 많습니다. 그들 영현앞에 고개 숙여 묵념을 드립니다.

그러나 그런 고귀한 희생에도 불구하고 조국은 아직도 남북으로 분단된체

원수처럼 어르렁 거리고 있으니 그저 답답하고 애통할 따름입니다.

하루 빨리 평화적인 방법으로 조국이 통일되길 바라봅니다.

I will endeavor to put every Korean War Memorial in the United States that I can gain access to on this site. While browsing through this site you do not see your state or local Korean War Memorial please let me know.

At the end of the listings for the Korean War Memorials erected in and by the individual States I will have a section for the Republic of South Korea. In this section will be the various Memorials erected in South Korea by United States Armed Forces and the Government of South Korea.

The following is a list of the States that I do not have a photo of a Memorial at the present time. If your state is listed and you know that they have a Korean War Memorial please let me know so I can get the picture and place it on this page.
